Cutlist Optimizer is a collection of free, browser-based cutting tools built around one idea: planning cuts should take minutes, not guesswork.

What we build

The centerpiece is a cutlist optimizer that nests your parts on full sheets and prints scale cutting layouts. Around it sit focused helpers: a cut sheet builder, a ply board calculator, a cutting board calculator, a plywood cut calculator and a 5-cut method calculator for squaring table saw sleds.

How it works

Every tool runs locally in your browser. There is no account, no upload and no server-side calculation: your parts lists stay on your own device, saved in your browser between visits. The optimization engine itself is a MaxRects nesting algorithm that evaluates multiple placement strategies per job and keeps the plan that uses the fewest sheets.

Who it is for

Woodworkers, cabinet makers, sign makers, fabricators, DIY builders and anyone who buys sheet goods and dislikes paying for scrap. If you have ever drawn rectangles on the back of an offcut, Cutlist Optimizer is for you.
